12:00-2:45pm Lunch/Crafts/Horse Knowledge (out of heat: inside
or in the barn)

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO OPERATE?
Ever wonder where the money goes? Each time you take
a lesson this is where you can be sure your money is going.

Monthly Expenses
$1500+ Mortgage per month
$1000 Grain for horses, doesn't include hay (amount of grain
more than doubled, due to drought) per month
$300 Shoes/trims for horses per month
$225 Farm Insurance per month
Yearly Expenses
$1500 Routine Vet every year (shots/Coggins only)
$4000 Average Emergency Vet every year
$4000 Hay - with bales costing $2-4 per bale (Not drought Prices that's $6.50 -
7.50 per bale)
There are many other things that I would like to do for the
horses and for the farm, but they will have to wait until things get better!
