EQUESTRIAN
DAY CAMP
2 hours of riding per day Minimum age 8 (7 if currently enrolled in lessons at FEC) (Some weeks will not have beginner spots available). 8:30 Riders Arrive 8:30-9am Groom and Saddle Horses 9-10:00am Riding Lesson 10:00-10:15am Secure Horses 10:15-10:45am Break and Snack 10:45-11:45pm Riding Lesson/Trail/Games 11:45-12:00pm Unsaddle/Rinse horses & Put away/Clean Barn/Change Clothes 12:00-2:00pm Lunch/Crafts/Hang out with Horses/Clean Barn/Parent Pick-up Monday - 1st Segment Lesson (Horse Placement) 2nd Segment Free time Tuesday - 1st Segment Lesson 2nd Segment Free time and Games Wednesday - 1st Segment Lesson 2nd Segment Games and Trail Ride Thursday - 1st Segment Lesson and Free time 2nd Segment Trail Ride and Field time Riders should be at camp at 8:00 am and picked up by 2:00 pm. Riders can expect to spend an average of 2 hours per day on their horses. Bring a bagged lunch, drinks, snacks. Microwave and Refrigerator available for riders. Bring change of clothes for after riding time. Bring a water bottle daily. 1-2 beginner - advanced beginner level riders will be allowed per camp session as horses are available.
